cool drink for hot summer - rosemary gin fizz

today i am taking break from my mcledoganj photos. and i am sharing a recipe for hot summer days. {Found the original recipe is here.}

cool drink for hot summer days

rosemary gin fizz

first of all rosemary simple syrup - boil 2 cups of water with 1/2 cup sugar; until sugar dissolves. turn off fire and add few springs of rosemary {i didn't have fresh so i added dried rosemary}. Allow the syrup to cool down and then store in fridge for many future drinks.

for 1 drink - in a tall glass add 1 tablespoon of rosemary simple syrup, 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice, and 1/4 cup of gin. Stir. Add ice and top with sparkling water {i used perrier sparkling water} or soda.

Enjoy the summer days...
